Issues is the money you spend to make them handle right is anything but budget. Main reason I sold mine. Too much dough to do the suspension and transmission I want. I wouldnt wipe by ass with a t5 or replacment springs.

SN95 suspension components make a HUGE difference on a fox, just about all the serious fox drifters are upgrading to SN95 parts, and MM makes anything you need to handle well, but like the S13 and any other car you will pay more for the higher quality parts. or you could just buy an MN12 tbird, you already got IRS, if you know where to look you can find suspension parts, and you get the mazda M5R2 5 speed (ALOT stronger than a T5) or if you have the 4.6 model a T45, but you have to battle the weight issue and brace the underbody good so the firewall doesnt crack lol but seriously i think if your willing to drive a car that is a little more difficult to learn to drift with there are sevral domestics that can be built for fairly cheap.

merkur xr4ti's are sweet cars too. turbo 2.3 which is a great motor, paired with irs. its an american capri which was notorious for touring car racing so it can corner as well.

 Re: another fox body drifter
there was a 500hp fox body at the outbrake event...it had way to much ass to drift...lol i tryed drifting it, the front tires bound in the wheel wells, other than things that can be fixed with suspension i think it would be a good drifter.

 Re: another fox body drifter
the maximum kit is nice, what I wanted but for 5k, you are hella in it. sn95 may change geometry a bit but you are still basicly on a ford falcon suspension. Yes I know quality s13 stuff can add but but you can have the correct stuff for less than 4k. To each their own. Fox is just as capable platform as any.

If they will fit I have a set of ground crontrol knock offs with allen locking "single hand" collars that actually work and dont strip out in a week.

 Re: another fox body drifter
you can use collars. the gc and gc style is all I would use. the ones that aje and granatelli sell are the 2 spanner lock crap that is rebranded junk. Good collars and quality springs like qa1 or eibach will do ok. Ill sell you these collars if they fit. bring down a shock. I have some eibach 650lbs 8" which should be decent for your front , you'll just need something decent for the rear ~300lbs I have some offbrand 350s you can have to try.
